Can anyone point me to a resource that would provide industry data identifying the relative composition of an embedded system by functionality?
For example: In an automotive ECU what percentage of the total LOC are used for running the communication bus, for built-in-test, obtaining and conditioning sensor signals, etc.
The data doesn't have come from the automotive industry. I'll take anything I can get.
